Not only does Spider-Man: Homecoming continue to dole out awesome casting news, it’s also giving us wild first looks at what’s to come.
“1 Year until #spidermanhomecoming hits theaters, are you ready…thought you would like to see a little selfie I took earlier,” he captioned the picture, which also included a punch emoji.
At Las Vegas’ CinemaCon earlier this year, Sony Pictures Chairman shared details about the film, whose Homecoming title is meant to reference the traditional high school event. It’s also meant to represent Spider-Man’s desire to “find his true identity and where he really belongs in this world.” It’s also serving as a slight wink to Spidey’s return to the Marvel universe.
Another source confirmed to E! News that Logan-Marshall Green is in talks to join the all-star lineup. It is rumored that Green will be playing another villain.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is set for a July 7, 2017 release.
