Arsenal missed the chance to move top of the Premier League after being held to a 1-1 draw by Tottenham in the north London derby at the Emirates.
The Gunners took the lead three minutes before half-time, although there was a hint of controversy about the opener. Mesut Ozil’s free kick was headed past Hugo Lloris by Kevin Wimmer, under pressure from several Arsenal players who appeared to be offside.
However, Spurs were level just five minutes after the interval, Harry Kane equalising from the penalty spot after Mousa Dembele had gone down after a challenge by Laurent Koscielny.
