When our season finale opens, Lucious and Giuliana’s helicopter is landing at Leviticus Vegas — and immediately, Lucious gets a phone call from his murderous mother. He’s keeping her locked in the house, and she’s not happy about it (uh, obviously). Apparently Lucious won’t let her out until she’s no longer having whatever “episode” she’s in, to which she replies, “I’m not having an episode! I put steel in the skull of your enemy!” I want to tattoo that on my body.
Anyway, Cookie is still angry with Jamal about the bombshell he dropped on her last week: not only that he’s holding When Cookie Met Lucious back to let Inferno have the spotlight for a bit, but also that he’s joining Lucious in Vegas. She swears Giuliana got into Jamal’s head somehow, too, but Jamal’s much more worried about Hakeem. “His head ain’t been in the game since Bella’s been missing,” Jamal says. Why does it feel like the rest of the family doesn’t care quite enough that the baby is missing? How can they even think about Vegas? Hakeem might actually be the only sane Lyon right now……
