This episode of Gotham was one of betrayal, then more betrayal, with a dash of betrayal on the side.
Oh, and romance is in the air.
The main plot centers around Penguin, the new mayor of Gotham, and Butch’s plot to use a gang of Red Hoods to get back into Penguin’s good graces. Butch has the Red Hoods assault Penguin during one of his first public appearances as mayor, shooting the head off the statue of Penguin’s mother. Butch’s plan is to use the Red Hoods to set himself up as the hero in order to get back in Penguin’s good graces. He almost gets away with it, too.
