A Ghanaian grandmother who claimed she had wanted to stop his grandson from sucking his fingers has finally burnt his left thumb. The granny identified as Aunt Owusuah is said to have accused the boy of cultivating an unhealthy habit of sucking his fingers which resulted in burn bruises.
‘His mother and father had all left for farm and left him in the care of the granny who burnt the boy’s fingers. We reported the matter to the Enchi police who are currently investigating the matter.’ He added.
However, the father of the victim, Kofi Ghana said he wasn’t surprised about the conduct of his mother in-law who had initially stated her dislike for him prior to marrying her daughter.
