We’ve already seen French striker Moussa Dembele make an instant impact since signing for Celtic this season.

However, Celtic fans may soon have a new Dembele to cheer on, after 13-year-old Karamoko Dembele made his debut for the club’s development team tonight.

Sadly, the pair aren’t related but Karamoko, who obviously has something special, came on for the final 9 minutes of Celtic Under-20s’ win against Hearts.

The 13-year-old replaced Jack Aitchison, 16, who became the Celtic’s youngest ever player to feature in a senior game when he played in the final match of last season.
Aged just 16 years and 71 days old, Aitchison scored with his first touch after coming on against Motherwell last season.

However, Ivorian youngster Karamoko Dembele could challenge Aitchison’s record for being the youngest after appearing for the club’s reserve team tonight, seven years above his age group.
