Jose Mourinho’s charges opened up their Europa League campaign with defeat as they succumbed to a second-half goal from the Dutch outfit at De Kuip on Thursday evening
Manchester United were beaten 1-0 by Feyenoord in their Europa League group stage opener on Thursday evening.
Tonny Vilhena struck late in the second half as the Dutch outfit downed Jose Mourinho’s men at De Kuip.
Mourinho named a strong-looking side for their trip to Netherlands including Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.
But the Red Devils, who also brought Zlatan Ibrahimovic off the bench, were unable to find a breakthrough before succumbing to a late goal.
