On Monday, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj attended the 2017 Met Gala in New York where they both wore stylish outfits honoring Japanese designer, Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garcons fame.
Rihanna wore a floral, asymmetrical dress that was covered in bold colored discs layered like flower petals, paired with gladiator-style stilettos with red straps wrapped around her leg.
Nicki Minaj wore a H&M gown which had a satin kimono cinched with a belt showing the face of the designer honoured at the gala, Rei Kawakuboas.
Some Fashion/Style magazines and media outlets have been describing the both of them as the winners of the night and this prompted Nicki and Rihanna to lay their claim to the ‘fashion throne’ on Instagram. Question is, who’s actually your favourite?
