The Costa Rica ace, who scored four goals in all competitions for Arsenal last season, has moved to the Portuguese outfit in a bid to secure more first-team football
Portuguese side Sporting have announced the signing of Arsenal and Costa Rica forward Joel Campbell on a season-long loan deal.
Campbell, who scored four goals in 30 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners in 2015-16, has moved to the Estadio Jose Alvalade in a bid to secure more first-team football.
The 24-year-old joined Arsenal in 2011 from Costa Rican side Deportivo Saprissa and will now embark on his fifth loan spell.

The San Jose-born attacker enjoyed his most prolific loan spell to date with Olympiacos during the 2013-14 season, scoring 11 goals including a strike against Manchester United in the last 16 of the Champions League
Campbell found the back of the net just once in 20 games during a temporary spell at Villarreal in 2014-15, before playing a bit-part role for Arsenal last season.
He joins up with Jorge Jesus’ side ahead of their Primeira Liga match against Porto next weekend.
Instead of signing, he’s still selling… Wenger is cursed o
I believe Wenger knows what he’s doing cuz transfer window is almost over oo
He should go and shine well then come back with better performance o cuz we want change in Arsenal
